Living History Theatre: Border Dispute
September 8 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The border between Pennsylvania and Maryland was not clearly designated until well into the 1700s. Through William Penn’s proprietorship, he clashed with Maryland proprietor Lord Baltimore over the border. For people living in the areas under dispute, the conflict impacted their safety, economy, and ways they practiced their faith.
This program is provided free of charge with admission to Pennsbury Manor, which includes a tour of the Manor House and other historic buildings. Tours are offered at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 pm.
