Living History Theater

As the Lady of the Manor, Hannah Penn tended to everyone when they were sick, including her husband. Come and talk with Hannah and the people at Pennsbury about their experiences being ill and the remedies that where available.

Beer Brewing & Garden Highlights

The brewing of beer as well as maintaining a garden were critical to the lives of those living at Pennsbury Manor. Explore and experience the sights, sounds, and smells of the recipes and plants that fed the early residents of Pennsylvania.

In an age when the mortality rate was high, what happened when children lost their parents? Join us as we convene an Orphan’s Court and discover some of the heartbreaking tales.

Art in the Garden: Botanical Drawing Workshop

Outdoor art for all skill levels. This guided drawing workshop will focus on plants in the kitchen garden. Materials provided. Registration required $35/non-members $30/members.

Juneteenth Celebration

Pennsbury Manor will be hosting a program in celebration of Juneteenth, which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. Bring a lunch and blanket or chairs and enjoy a peaceful afternoon on the banks of the Delaware River.
